About me

Hello, I’m Norah

Why I do this work

I’m passionate about helping people change. There have been times in my life when I really wished I’d had the right help and guidance to get me through — so I know how much it matters.

I didn’t get to be a mum. So I’m particularly sensitive to what my clients go through around miscarriage, bereavement, loss and failed IVF cycles. It’s so seldom talked about, and it can feel like a taboo subject. With me, it isn’t.

How I found reflexology

When I was going through some health issues of my own, I loved having reflexology. It’s such a powerful, non-invasive therapy, and I was fascinated by the points on the feet and how they link to the rest of the body. So I trained as a reflexologist, and then as a reproductive reflexologist, because it combines so beautifully with my fertility coaching. Some clients start with coaching and move on to reflexology; others have combined sessions.

Some of my working relationships with clients span many years — and many births; an absolute joy for me.

How I work

I give my clients a calm, relaxed space to explore their emotions and let go of whatever is getting in the way of what they want — always at their own pace. That gives them the clarity to know what they want, and how they’re going to get there.

After over 20 years in practice, I have a wealth of experience and a heap of self-help tools to share, so you leave feeling relaxed, calm, confident and back in control.

Before therapy, and beyond

A little more about me

Before I became a therapist, I spent over 25 years in fashion, at every level — buying, design and manufacturing, and finally running my own business as a fashion reporter and forecaster.

These days, when I’m at home you’ll usually find me in the garden or in the kitchen, experimenting with new ingredients and flavours. I’m a bit of a foodie: I qualified in Nutrition for Culinary Practice at Leith’s School of Food and Wine, and I’m always happy to share healthy-eating tips from Norah’s Kitchen.
